The steps from submitting to acceptance/rejection of an article are briefly as follows:
- The author must first register in the journal and then after login, the author can submit the manuscript along with the required files.
- In the preliminary check, the executive editor checks the article to ensure that all the required files are submitted, there is no plagiarism, the manuscript format is correct, etc. If the manuscript needs revisions, it would be returned to the author and if approved, it will be assigned to the editor-in-chief.
- The editor-in-chief checks that the manuscript is appropriate for the journal and is sufficiently original and interesting. If not, the manuscript may be rejected without being reviewed any further. If the manuscript is suitable enough, it will be sent to editorial board members.
- The editorial board, while carefully reviewing the article, sends its opinion regarding the quality of the article and rejecting/accepting it along with the names of the proposed referees (if the article is approved) to the editor-in-chief. If the majority of members confirm the quality of the manuscript, it will be sent to at least two referees.
- The editor-in-chief considers all the returned reviews before making an overall decision. If the reviews differ widely, the chief editor may invite an additional reviewer to provide an additional opinion.
- The editor-in-chief sends the author a decision, including any relevant reviewer comments. At this stage, the manuscript may be rejected or sent to the corresponding author for revision.
-The author will improve the manuscript according to the reviewers's comments. After revising the manuscript, the author submits the revised manuscript again.
- The editor-in-chief will review the revised manuscript. In conclusion, it will be sent to one of the reviewers for re-review.
- If editor-in-chief and final reviewer accepted it, the article is sent to production and a written letter about the final acceptance and publication of the article will be sent to the author.
- After acceptance, the article will be sent to the editor and page designer. After that, the authors will receive the final version of the manuscript for Galley Proof. The waiting time for publishing the article depends on the number of accepted manuscript. After publishing, all articles can be downloaded for free on the website.
